International Student Orientation Safety Conference Held for New Spring Enrollees
On the afternoon of March 26, the university held the 2026 Spring Semester International Student Freshmen Orientation Safety Conference at the Lecture Hall of No. 3 Teaching Building. Pang Qiuxiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Vice President, attended and delivered a speech. Tang Shouli, Captain of the Exit-Entry Administration Division of Zibo Public Security Bureau, and Chen Xiaoguang, Police Officer from the West City Squadron of Zhangdian District Traffic Police Brigade, were invited to give special safety lectures. The event was attended by leaders of the School of International Education, counselors, and all new international students.

On behalf of the university, Vice President Pang Qiuxiang extended a warm welcome to the new international students from all over the world. She gave a detailed introduction to the university's basic profile, achievements in internationalization, and the international student training system. She expressed her hopes for the students:

Captain Tang Shouli focused on the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China. Combining typical real-life cases, he elaborated on core topics such as temporary accommodation registration, document management, visa extension, and online risks for international students. He emphasized the legal liabilities concerning illegal residence, illegal employment, and unauthorized work. He reminded the freshmen to properly keep important documents such as passports, complete relevant procedures in a timely manner in accordance with regulations, and strictly abide by Chinese laws and regulations.
Officer Chen Xiaoguang adopted a lecture style of "Policy Interpretation + Case Warnings" to intuitively explain China's road traffic rules. He focused on disseminating safety knowledge regarding pedestrian rules, electric bicycle riding, and the dangers of drunk driving, guiding international students to establish the concept of "Safety First, Civilized Travel".
