On the morning of December 11th, Li Liang, Deputy Head of the Public Order Division at Zhangdian District Public Security Bureau, Zibo City, visited the SOIE with one colleague. They held a symposium focusing on international student safety management. Dean Zhang Zhaolu and all counsellors attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Li Liang outlined the core purpose of the visit, interpreted key points of the newly revised Public Security Administration Punishment Law, and offered guiding suggestions for further refining the university-police collaborative control mechanism based on practical campus safety management within the jurisdiction.

Dean Zhang Zhaolu outlined the international student enrolment scale, daily management practices, and safety education initiatives. He acknowledged the effective collaboration between the university and police in managing international students in recent years. He affirmed that the SOIE would refine its safety education approach based on the characteristics of the international student population. Through regular case-based warning education sessions, the school aims to enhance students' awareness of legal and regulatory frameworks, working hand-in-hand with public security authorities to fortify campus and district safety defences.
