SDUT International Culture Week (2025)
On November 1, the World Customs Exhibition of SDUT International Culture Week (2025), jointly organised by the Youth League Committee, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, and School of International Education, was held at Jixia Lake Square.
Pang Qiuxiang, Standing Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SDUT; Zhang Xinzheng, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Zibo Municipal People's Government Foreign Affairs Office and Executive Vice President of the Zibo Municipal People's Friendship Association; heads of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of Shandong Agricultural Engineering University, the International College of Zibo Vocational and Technical University, and other relevant departments attended. Nearly a thousand teachers and students, along with international students from over 30 countries from universities in Zibo, gathered for this multicultural convergence.

Pang Qiuxiang delivered a speech.She emphasised that strengthening international cooperation and exchange is an essential requirement for modernising higher education and a strategic pillar for the university's high-quality development. In recent years, SDUT has accelerated its internationalisation process, welcoming an increasing number of students from across the globe who have journeyed over mountains and seas to study here, transforming the campus into a vibrant classroom where diverse civilisations collide and intertwine. She expressed hope that Chinese and international students would deepen mutual understanding and forge trust through this event, allowing the wisdom of different civilisations to spark brilliant insights through exchange. She encouraged them to grow into robust bridges connecting international friendship and promoting mutual learning among civilisations, becoming vital forces in advancing the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Zhang Xinzheng expressed his hope that international students would find the convergence point between their passions, their strengths, and the needs of Zibo's development. May Zibo become a vast stage for them to showcase their talents and realise their aspirations, forging deep friendships, achieving academic success, and becoming goodwill ambassadors who build bridges of friendship between China and the world.

During the cultural performances, students from various nations took turns to present 17 meticulously prepared acts. Lively and graceful ethnic dances from different countries, alongside soulful renditions of distinctive songs, vividly showcased the unique charm of diverse civilisations.

Across 23 cultural exhibition zones, distinctive booths from around the world formed a series of miniature ‘windows to the world’. International students transformed into enthusiastic cultural ambassadors, meticulously showcasing their nations' traditional attire, handcrafted artefacts, signature delicacies, and scenic photography at their booths. Chinese and international students mingled among the exhibits, sampling regional specialities and capturing memories through photographs, deepening their bonds amidst waves of laughter.
