On the afternoon of October 23, the School of International Education, in collaboration with the Green Giant Volunteer Service Team of Zibo Central Hospital, organized a special training session titled First Aid Knows No Borders for over 50 international students. This marks the first time the school has partnered with high-quality medical resources to provide bilingual instruction and hands-on drills, systematically equipping international students with first aid skills and effectively strengthening their life safety awareness.

The training was conducted entirely in both Chinese and English. The medical team focused on teaching core skills such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the Heimlich maneuver, using simple analogies to demystify technical terms. This approach made abstract first aid knowledge more accessible, ensuring students from different countries could clearly understand the procedures.

After the theoretical session, members of the Green Giant Volunteer Service Team demonstrated the basic CPR procedure and key points using professional manikins. International students then practiced in small groups, with medical staff providing step-by-step guidance in both languages and through physical demonstrations. This hands-on approach helped students master the details of the techniques, effectively translating theoretical knowledge into practical skills.

Moving forward, the school will continue to collaborate with high-quality medical resources to explore more health service formats tailored to the needs of international students, providing a stronger safety net for their studies and life in China.
