‌Zibo Public Security Bureau Zhangdian Branch Visits to Discuss International Student Safety Management

To further strengthen the safety management network for international students and effectively ensure their safety in China, on September 18, Cao Weixing, Deputy Chief of the Public Security Brigade of Zhangdian Branch, Zibo Public Security Bureau, and his two-person delegation visited the School of International Education. They held a special symposium on topics including international student safety management, policy compliance implementation, and emergency response collaboration. Representatives from the School of International Education, including its leadership and staff from the Student Affairs Office and Admissions Office, attended the meeting.

Cao Weixing introduced the purpose of the visit and he expressed the hope to deeply align with the school's practical management needs, address collaboration bottlenecks through police-school coordination, jointly tackle challenges in risk prevention and control, and prevent potential safety hazards at the source.

Zhang Zhaolu, Dean of the School, introduced the basic situation of international students and provided a detailed report on the safety policies and measures implemented during the stages of new student enrollment, daily teaching management, and graduation. He affirmed the effectiveness of the police-school collaboration mechanism in recent years, analyzed the difficulties and shortcomings in international student safety management, and proposed suggestions for solutions.
