On the afternoon of July 10th, the School of International Education held a work summary and summer work deployment meeting for the first half of 2025. The meeting was chaired by Dean Zhang Zhaolu and attended by all faculty and staff.

At the meeting, the Dean Zhang Zhaolu expressed gratitude to all faculty and staff for their hard work and summarized the overall work of the first half of this year. He stated that our school had made steady progress in enhancing the quality of education for international students, achieved innovative developments in its educational model, demonstrated significant improvements in classroom teaching management, made breakthroughs in practical training base development, and effectively resolved lingering issues stemming from the pandemic.

Zhang Zhaolu outlined the arrangements for summer vacation work. He pointed out that it is necessary to coordinate the relationship between work and rest. While fully resting during the holidays, it is necessary to activate the holiday work mode to plan ahead and prepare thoroughly for the upcoming semester; Secondly, the duty schedules must be strictly implemented, and administrative staff must fulfill their duties, conscientiously carry out holiday duty work, and ensure smooth information flow and timely response; Thirdly, we must strictly implement the summer work plan, and each department should strictly follow the holiday work plan to promote and implement various tasks; Fourthly, it is necessary to carefully summarize and plan. Each department should complete a comprehensive work summary in the first half of the year during the holidays and develop a work plan for the second half of the year; and we must build a strong safety defense line, and safety work is no small matter. All faculty and staff should enhance their safety awareness, implement safety responsibilities, and diligently implement measures to prevent fire, theft, accidents, and other security risks, ensuring the absolute safety of personnel, property, and facilities throughout the vacation.

Zhang Zhaolu emphasized that summer vacation serves as a ‌crucial connecting period‌ and urged all faculty to approach their responsibilities with ‌a strong sense of duty and full commitment‌. He expressed hope that everyone would ensure the smooth and orderly implementation of summer tasks, laying a solid foundation for scaling new heights in the college’s development during the upcoming semester.
