
Mid-Semester Teacher Symposium
On the afternoon of May 8, the School of International Education organized a mid-semester teacher symposium in the conference room. The event aimed to comprehensively understand the learning status of international students, enhance teaching management and service levels, and advance high-quality international education. Key leaders of the school, directors of relevant departments, and faculty representatives attended the meeting.
During the symposium, teaching supervisors first provided feedback on classroom observations from the first half of the semester. Subsequently, participating teachers openly shared opinions and suggestions, engaging in in-depth discussions on classroom discipline management, student attendance, classroom norms, instructional organization, and the cultivation of student learning habits. After listening to the inputs, the Dean Zhang Zhaolu expressed gratitude for the faculty's dedication to international student education. And he emphasized that all recommendations would be earnestly reviewed, with gradual adjustments and optimizations to teaching and management practices. These efforts aim to elevate the quality of talent cultivation for international students studying in China and drive the enhancement of international education standards.
