Safety Inspection for International Student Apartments Before the May Day Holiday
Approaching the May Day holiday, to effectively ensure the safety of international students' accommodation during the vacation, eliminate potential hazards, and foster a peaceful and harmonious living environment, all counselors conducted a special safety inspection campaign in the international student apartments on the afternoon of April 29th. This inspection, guided by the principle of leaving no blind spots and rectifying issues immediately, involved a comprehensive and meticulous examination of the apartments.
The inspection thoroughly covered all floors, rooms, and kitchens within the international student apartments, with a primary focus on fire safety, electricity safety, and facility equipment safety. During the fire safety checks, staff meticulously verified the unobstructed status of fire exits, confirmed the completeness and functional readiness of firefighting facilities such as fire extinguishers and hydrants, and ensured the effectiveness of emergency lighting and evacuation signage. Where clutter obstructing fire exits was found in some rooms, inspectors promptly cleared it and patiently explained fire safety knowledge and the severe dangers of blocked passages to the students.
This safety inspection aimed to strengthen the safety awareness of international students, promptly identify and eliminate potential safety hazards, and provide solid assurance for the students to enjoy a safe and pleasant May Day holiday.
