During the 2025 New Era High-Quality International Education Dialogue held in Hangzhou on April 17-18, the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) released the inaugural national list of exemplary Understanding China courses for international students and China-Foreign Youth Social Practice Bases. Our university’s Qi Culture and Cuju Experience Base secured a place among the selected bases, with nationwide recognition granted to 111 courses and 115 bases.

This achievement stems from a national initiative commissioned by the Ministry of Education’s Department of International Cooperation and Exchange, where CEAIE spearheaded the collection and evaluation of these pioneering programs.

The Qi Culture and Cuju Experience Activity Base is jointly established by the School of International Education and the Qi Culture Museum of our university, aiming to focus on Qi culture and Cuju culture. Through immersive and interactive teaching experiences, it leads international youth to explore Qi culture and Cuju culture, appreciate the historical heritage of excellent traditional Chinese culture, help Chinese and foreign youth broaden their international horizons, and enhance their cross-cultural communication abilities.

Throughout the years, the school has attached great importance to educating international students on China's national conditions, continuously enriching the education system. Through a combination of theoretical education, practical education, and activity-based education, the school has comprehensively enhanced the in-depth understanding and high recognition of China's national conditions among international students, making positive contributions to cultivating international talents who are knowledgeable and friendly to China.
