In order to enhance international students' understanding of the historical changes and development of Zibo's characteristic culture, industry, and rural areas, and to appreciate the modernization stories of ancient Eastern civilization, the School of International Education at Shandong University of Technology recently organized more than 30 outstanding international student representatives from more than 10 countries including Russia, Pakistan, and Sudan to carry out a 5-day 'Entering Zibo, Perceiving China' social practice and cultural experience activity.

The school organized international students to visit the Linzi Qi Culture Museum to gain a deeper understanding of the development of Qi culture. Go deep into Zhoucun 1960 Silk Culture Creative Park to understand the development history of silk culture. In Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Mall, they can perceive the ancient commercial buildings known as the Silk Town. Visit the China Ceramic and Glass Museum to learn about the origin, development, and innovation of Zibo's Taoliu culture, allowing international students to gain a deeper understanding of the past and present of the Taoliu Silk culture.

In order to enable international students to fully understand the innovation and development of modern industry in Zibo, they went to Shandong Xinma Pharmaceutical Equipment Co., Ltd. to learn about the world's leading IMA solid formulation product technology; visit and exchange ideas at Shandong Rheinster Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. to learn about the research and design of intelligent manufacturing technology, modern education system reform and innovation, etc; go to Shandong Shengfeng Chemical Co., Ltd. to learn about chemical product manufacturing, innovation, and international sales business, and go to Shandong Water Conservancy Technician College to learn about water conservancy culture.

They also went to the most representative ancient kiln village - Yanshan Yanshen Ancient Town to perceive the construction and development of beautiful rural areas in China. International students not only understand the development and changes of ancient kiln villages, but also further deepen their understanding of ancient kiln culture and experience traditional ceramic and glass techniques.

Through this event, international students have gained a lot and expressed their shock and respect for the unique cultural history and modern development of Zibo. Our school will continue to carry out a variety of social practice and cultural experience activities, allowing international students to deeply experience the charm of China's excellent traditional culture and modern development model. As an international ambassador, international students will showcase the real, three-dimensional, and comprehensive China to the world and tell the story of China well.
