Safety Education Conference for International Students Freshmen

On the afternoon of September 14th, the international students' Freshmen safety education conference was held in the Lecture Hall of No.3 Teaching Building, with nearly 300 international student freshmen from more than 20 countries including Russia, Morocco, and Bangladesh attending the conference. The deans of the International Education School presided over the relevant safety education, which was conducted by Zuo Yajuan, Deputy Director of the Exit and Entry Management Branch of Zibo Public Security Bureau, Qi Yanqing, Drug Control Detachment of Zibo Public Security Bureau, Cui Hong, Director of the Exit and Entry Management Office of Zhangdian District, Bai Nianguang, and Zhai Fei from the Traffic Police Brigade of Zhangdian Public Security Bureau.

Zuo Yajuan gave lectures on the foreigner accommodation registration, visa processing, illegal employment, and other aspects of the precautions for international students living and studying in China.

Yanqing Qi preached from the concept of drugs, the seriousness of drug abuse, China's laws and regulations, as well as the introduction of some drugs, the causes of drug abuse, and refusing drugs.

 

Zhai Fei gave a speech from the causes of traffic accidents, distracted driving, the importance of wearing a helmet, and the consequences of drunk and Bai Nianguang used practical cases for clarification.

 

Cui Hong preached from the concept of telecommunication network fraud, common tools, impact and harm, and how to be alert and refuse to participate in telecommunication network fraud.

  

The International Student Safety Education Conference is one of a series of new student education activities organized by the School of International Education. On the occasion of the registration of new international students, the School of International Education planed ahead and carefully organized various new student entrance education activities, aiming to strengthen the management of international students.
