On December 22, 2023, the winter solstice, international students went into the Boulder and Park Street communities to participate in activities of dumpling-making and New Year's Day celebration.

At the event, international students experienced the entire process of making dumplings, from mixing the filling, rolling out the skin, wrapping the dumplings, to boiling the dumplings. And learned about our custom of eating dumplings on the winter solstice.

International students and community members also performed various cultural programs to welcome the Chinese New Year.

Through this event, international students experienced the different ways we celebrate our different festivals. In the future, taking the community as a base for cultural experience we will organize more cultural experience activities for international students.
