In the afternoon of June 23, the School of international education held the graduation and degree awarding ceremonyof 2021 in classroom 410, teaching buildingNo.2. Affected by the epidemic, the ceremony was held through the cloud of Tencent conference online to allow foreign students who can not return to school for the time being to participate. Dean Ji Hongfang, Vice Dean Zhou Guobao and Zhu Guangming, personnel from relevant departments, representatives of teachers and international students attended the ceremony, and jointly witnessed the solemn moment .This year, there are 33 graduates, including 3 doctoral students, 1 master's student and 29 undergraduates. The ceremony was presided over by Vice Dean Zhou Guobao.

At the ceremony, vice Dean Zhu Guangming read out the decision on awarding Bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree to 2021 graduates, decision on Commending excellent graduation thesis of 2021 graduates and decision on Commending excellent graduates of 2021 international students.

Li luolei, a graduate of business Chinese, and Alex, a graduate of international logistics, made speeches online as representatives of the graduates.They thanked university and school for the efforts and support for providing high-quality teaching resources for international students, and thanked each teacher for his hard work and kind care in the past four years and the precious friendship of their classmates.

Li Yuewei, as a teacher representative, sincerely hopes that international graduates will continue to enrich themselves, master excellent knowledge and skills, and meet the challenges with confidence! She wish every graduate a firm, steady, sonorous and brilliant life in the future. 

Finally, Dean Ji Hongfang delivered a speech to the graduates. On behalf of all the teachers and students of the School, she first extended warm congratulations to the 33 international graduates who have successfully completed their studies and are about to embark on a new life journey. She also expressed her gratitude to each international student for their participation and support in the construction and development of the School and put forward several expectations: first, she hoped that the students will cherish their friendship with China, teachers and the other students, share their Chinese stories and the stories of SDUT with family and friends, so that they can better understand China; Second, she hoped that students would become envoys of Chinese and foreign cultural communication. No matter they would return to their own country for development or stay in China, they would be able to apply what they had learned and make contributions to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind; Third, she hoped that students would keep close contact with their alma mater after graduation, and continue to pay close attention to and support the development of their alma mater.
